Job Description

Our company is looking for a Senior Chef de Partie / Sous Chef to join our team.


·To ensure the security of the stores during working hours and that they securely locked at the end of the shift;

·Consistently plating quality food through restaurant service;

·To report and where possible take action on customer and client complaints or compliments;

·To record daily costings of menu items when required;

·To ensure that statutory regulations including Food Safety and COSHH are adhered to in the absence of management;

·Collaborating with company Executive Chef designing event and restaurant menus;

·To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef;

·To prepare and assist at special functions which may sometimes be outside normal working hours;

·Maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers to ensure quality of product;

·To ensure compliance of all cleaning schedules required for the kitchen;

·To assist with the training and development of the kitchen staff;

·Stock ordering and rotation;

·Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times;

·To assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals at the required times and to the required standard;

·To assist with menu planning, orders, checking and storing deliveries and rotas as directed by the Head Chef.


·A proven track record of success creating quality and innovative food;

·Worked as a CDP/ Senior CDP in a busy restaurant or hotel dealing with large covers;

·Kitchen with Rosettes;

·Previous experience maintaining strict kitchen GP’s;

·Leadership and management skills;

·Passion for Food;

Senior CDP/Sous chef Salary: £22,000 to £24000
